EVB recently starting working with Ultra Motor to develop a social media campaign to promote the A2B Metro electric bicycle, which is unanimously one of the coolest products we’ve ever worked on.
If you’ve never road-tested one of these bikes you need too. They are fast, with a lot of torque, and are very fun to ride. They go about 20mph and get about 20 miles to a charge. You can ride them anywhere you ride a bike; park them on the sidewalk; and you don’t need a motorcycle license. Plus, they are totally green. Very cool.

Whether you love the work that EVB does or hate it, there is no debating that our agency delivers ideas that strikes a chord. To date, our social media campaigns have engaged over half a billion online consumers and have been featured countless times in print media, TV news programs, in blogs, on Facebook, in Twitter and everywhere else.
This prompted Husani, our Director of Technology, to write a Wordpress plug-in call SMIRC (Social Media Integrated Related Content). You can drop into any page that will report back what people are saying in the blogs, Twitter, Facebook and other places that digital conversations may be happening. We’ve added it to all of our case studies in the work section on the site, so you can hear what other people are saying about our work. We don’t moderate or censor anything. We create ideas that people talk about. You deserve to hear what they are saying.
You can read more about Husani’s SMIRC plug-in and download it to use on your own blog here.

We were sitting around one day musing about things, when we realized that our URL is actually smaller than “tinyurl.com.” About an hour later, Husani and the tech team had put together our own version of tinyurl. Feel free to use it and abuse it at http://g.evb.com.
