USA TODAY, official U.S. representative to the International Advertising Festival in Cannes, and co-sponsors Atmosphere BBDO, Evolution Bureau (EVB) and Pereira & O’Dell announce the winners of the 2009 Young Lions “Team USA” competitions.

2009 Young Lions categories and “Team USA” winners are:

We’re happy to announce the addition of writer Josh Parschauer to our creative dept.  Josh joins us from Cutwater and, as you can see, he’s already quite comfy w/ the corner of 12th and Howard. And  A. Ruiz does not loan his steamroller to just anyone, so we know this guy’s got “It.” When asked “What makes you tick?” (which is a thing we like to ask everyone in the Bureau, because it’s fun to say, especially when you really draw out the phrase dramatically) Josh told us he’s really into something called “Hockey.” We’ve never heard of this activity and would not deign to imagine what it might be, but even if he’s making it up we’re glad to have someone with quick wits who makes up fun words and speaks them in that brash Ohio accent.
