Introducing the Facebook Studio Awards

Facebook Studio is entering its second year of educating and inspiring the marketing and advertising world by showcasing case studies of work being done by brands and agencies on Facebook. This year, the company chose to take things a step further creating its own unique award to celebrate the best creative work being done on the platform.

Facebook tapped the Bureau to raise awareness of the award show and generate a call for entries. The agency worked with Facebook to create a campaign of three print ads that will run in advertising trade publications in the US and the UK over the next three weeks.

EVB also designed the award that is pictured in the print ads. The rest of the campaign is show after the jump.

Jameson 1780

A barrel of John Jameson’s legendary Irish whiskey has gone missing and a friend of yours has been implicated in the crime. Your job is to explore 1780 Dublin, collect clues, accept challenges from the townsfolk and solve the quandary. In addition to the social game, the website also allows fans, by way of a 1780 Dublin map, to explore additional John Jameson legends through print and television work.

GE Air Show

GE asked us to help celebrate the spirit of invention by building a model air show. And they gave us a MakerBot – a 3D printer – to fill it with whatever people on Facebook suggest.

Every week on the GE Air Show Facebook tab we’ll post a new question about what to print next. We’ll then select a few of the best submissions and use the MakerBot to bring them to life. These selections will be featured in video installments, added weekly to the Facebook tab.

Serenading Unicorn Charms Sarah Silverman

The agency is proud to launch the final video in our social content campaign for Juicy Fruit. The video, which went live this week, has already generated millions of earned media impressions and has been featured in People Magazine, Access Hollywood, VH1, Mashable, USA Today, Salon and Perez Hilton.
