Lands’ End recently introduced a new brand extension called “Canvas
1963,” which was targeted at a younger audience. The company
approached EVB to develop a campaign to energize the brand and
bring make it relevant to a more “digital” target.
To do this, EVB created a full-screen video experience that was
driven by a social media engine using the viewer’s Facebook, Twitter
and Flickr assets to create a custom piece of artwork that can be
downloaded and shared.
The site, which took place in a Manhattan-style artist’s loft, then used
additional assets from the viewer’s social networks to essential furnish
the loft with artwork that was relevant to, or even created by, the user.
